Hanna and Nathan were a dream couple to work with. We bonded pretty fast over the course of their wedding planning, and I loved Hanna's eye for style and her meticulous planning.
Early on, I knew this day was going to be special. Hanna and Nathan worked hard to put loving detail into every part of their day - they had pretzel bowls and a flavored water bar in the loft, hand thrown pottery made by Hanna as favors for the guests, and Hanna even designed their invitation - complete with the most epic depiction of the barn ever.
Flipping the script on your typical wedding day was the name of Hanna and Nathan's game. The cupcakes were all incredibly unique flavors. Hot artisan pizzas came off a wood fired pizza grill, Courtney of Bella Luna Pizza in Harrisonburg. A gelato cart was wheeled out at the end of the night for a late dessert. And the DJ, Dapper DJ's, spun tunes all night using vinyl, chrome microphones, and suitcase record players from the roaring 20's.
Most of all, we loved getting to know these two and their family and friends. they are two of the most interesting and radical people we've met, and we are so happy they chose us for their big day.
